I've been extremely involved in theatre my entire life. These days I'm mostly interested in interactive and improvisational theatre, primarily with Theatre on the Edge (which I founded many years ago) and with the Mysterious Players, an interactive dinner-theatre troupe that's been performing since the early 1980's.
For the past twelve years, I've played King Bertram in the Royal Medieval Faire, and in the past I've also played King Ludgwig for Kitchener-Waterloo's annual Oktoberfest presentations.
I'm also involved with Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre, and recently did a one-act radio play for them at the beautiful Waterloo Stage Theatre. I've been on their board many times in the past, and have twice served as president of the group.
In addition to teaching improv workshops for Theatre on the Edge, I've also taught acting for Cameo Models, and teach an annual workshop for the Models' Alliance Group.
I've studied improv at Second City Toronto, and acting with Theatre Ontario. For a while I had my own sketch comedy troupe, called Troupe Du Jour". I've also done some radio theatre at CKMS-FM and a sketch comedy series called "The Walloon Show" for CKWR.
I'm a past winner of the Kitchener-Waterloo Arts Award, in the Performing Arts category.
Lately I've been working with my friend Karen Lucas on doing some short films with a comedic science-fiction theme to them.
